Niche Blog Post #1 Draft: Skin Care: For the Impossible College Lifestyle
1.ALWAYS wash your face at night
Regardless if you come back drunk after a long night of partying or you’re just lazy after having hanging out with friends, make sure to wash all those layers of makeup off. Even if you don’t wear makeup, you must wash your face anyway.
Lazy Solution: keep makeup wipes by your nightstand before you go out
2.Wash your pillowcases every week.
We know you didn’t wash your face after going out on Friday… and maybe Saturday too. Make sure to wash those makeup covered, bacteria infested pillowcases.
Lazy Solution: have a couple of spare pillowcases instead of washing the same one all the time
3.Don’t binge eat, especially unhealthy food.
Your body can’t handle when you eat too much food and it affects your skin. Try to lock up all the bad food you own. Replace the binge eating by chewing on ice or eating fruit. You will get fuller faster.
Lazy Solution: take a nap so you can’t eat excessive amounts of food
4.Wipe off your cellphone
Think about all the grime when holding your phone against your face when you make a phone call. Clean it with an alcohol wipe so it’s squeaky clean (and no, not the alcohol you drink).
Lazy Solution: wipe your screen against your shirt. It’s better than not wiping it all
5.Don’t rest your hand on your face when sitting down
Yes, we know a 1 hour and 15 minute lecture can be extremely long and boring so you feel like you need to hold your head that feels like 1,000 pounds. But, don’t touch your chin or face with your hands!
Lazy Solution: lay your head down if you can get away with it in class :P
6.Exercise, Exercise, Exercise
Sweating when working out will remove all those bad toxins. You will sweat out all that alcohol you drank all weekend and some of that unhealthy food you ate. Your face will glow!
Lazy Solution: just go to the gym to sweat and then leave. OR go to a sauna and sweat everything out
7.Just take a breath and relax
College student=stress. We all know that. But take a break. Your face is begging you! When you are stressed, your hormones go crazy and it causes you to get more pimples. Do whatever it takes to take a break and chill for a bit.
Lazy Solution: Stop what you’re doing and just take a nap. Life is too short to skip your daily nap.
8. Drink more water!!
No, don’t say you forget to drink water. Drinking water hydrates your skin and also gets rid of the impurities in your body. You are feeding your body if you drink more water. Your skin will thank you.
Lazy Solution: Play water pong with your friends instead of chugging beer. You are having fun and clearing your skin. It’s a win-win!
9. Go to bed earlier.
Beauty sleep is no joke. When you are sleep deprived, your skin looks dull and lifeless. If you get a good nights rest (about 8-9 hours of sleep, not 4), then your skin will look vibrant and alive. Those all nighters are not worth it!
Lazy Solution: Start homework earlier so you don’t have to do an all nighter.
10. Know the causes of acne in certain locations of your face
Did you know that pimples between your eyebrows mean you are drinking too much alcohol? Or pimples on cheeks mean you are overeating and also eating too much sugar? Even an irregular sleep schedule and stress mean pimples on your forehead? Well, just a few simple changes can limit the pimples you get in certain places on your face.
Lazy Solution: If you don’t know the causes of certain places, just limit alcohol, Ramen noodles, and the amount of all nighters you do because that’s what all college students do right?

Niche Blog Post #2 Draft: Cheap And Actually Effective Skin Care Products that Worked for Me
I always suffered from acne when I was in middle school and high school. I was desperate, so my mom agreed to pay for products that the lady at Ulta suggested. Of course the lady suggested the expensive stuff, when she easily could’ve recommended the cheaper products. Such a deceiving lady. I used the Murad skin care line and obviously, the lady suggested so many products, too. The lady told my mom I should use the Murad cleanser, moisturizer, mask, some sort of toner, and a spot treatment. She was helping her sales, not my face. Everything all together must’ve been over $100, which is so expensive! But, I still continued to use it.
When I got to college, my skin was going INSANE. It was my college lifestyle that affected my skin and the expensive stuff still wasn’t helping my face. I was broke, stressed, and I couldn’t handle my face anymore. I did some small changes that helped my face and I also opted for cheaper products. Here are some products I have been using that are just as good as expensive ones. Saving your bank account and saving your face is my goal.
Tip: Go to Walmart or Target for these products. Even though Walgreens sells drugstore brand items, the prices are usually higher than the normal price.
For example, these are the prices for the cleanser listed below. Such a difference!
Walmart: $5.64/Target: $5.69 Compared to Walgreens: $8.29
CLEANSER
Clean and Clear Advantage 3-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser
Cost: ~$5-6
I use this cleanser to wash my face every morning and every night. It’s perfect because it has benzoyl peroxide, which is an anti-acne fighting ingredient. It also has a small amount of micro beads to exfoliate your skin. The exfoliation is so gentle, but effective to make your skin look really clear.
MOISTURIZER
Aveeno Active Naturals Clear Complexion Daily Moisturizer
Cost: ~$12-13
I use this moisturizer every morning and night after I use my cleanser. It’s lightweight enough to not make your face look oily, but it does the perfect job to make sure you don’t have dry skin.
TONER
Dickinson's Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner
Cost: ~$4-5
I use this occasionally at night after I wash my face and before I put on moisturizer. This toner balances the PH of your skin and minimizes the look of pores. It removes any excess dirt and oil on your face that your cleanser didn’t remove. It’s gentle enough for sensitive skin!
SPOT TREATMENT
Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment
Cost: $~6
I use this at night after I cleanse my face and after I put moisturizer on. I only use it when I have a pimple and keep it on overnight. The pimple decreases in size while you sleep! I’ve been using this product for years and works perfectly for me!
MAKEUP WIPES
Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes
Cost: ~$4-5
I use this at night when I have face makeup on, like foundation, concealer, etc. I use this before I wash my face, so I take the makeup off before I cleanse my skin. If I don’t use this, the cleanser alone won’t take the makeup off completely.
FACE MASK
Formula 10.0.6® Deep Down Detox Mud Mask
Cost: ~$7
I use this at night every couple of weeks. It’s not good to use a facemask too often because it’s too powerful. This deep cleans my skin and makes my skin look fresher and brighter. Perfect mask to balance my skin and take all the “bad stuff” out.
EXFOLIATOR
St. Ives Blemish Control Face Scrub Apricot
Cost: ~$3-4
I use this at night 2-3 times a week. This product has 100% natural exfoliants and it’s paraben and sulfate free (these ingredients are harsh for your skin). It minimizes the look of your pores instantly after you use it (trust me!). Don’t overuse it though because it will irritate your skin.
These 7 products all together cost $41-$46! Definitely a good steal! If I had these 7 products with expensive brands, it would cost me about $100 or more (that estimated price is me being generous). These cheap and effective products worked for me and I hope they work for you also. A lot of these products last for a couple of months, too. If you are struggling with acne, don’t be discouraged. If my skin got better, so can yours!

CHANGES MADE IN FINAL NICHE BLOG #2:
- I added pictures next to each product. I did this to make my blog look more appealing and attract people to read it. I also added the pictures so readers can see how the product looks like when they go buy it.
- I added a reference to my Blog Post #1 with a hyperlink. This can easily allow reader to click on the hyperlink to be directed to that blog post.
- I added a hyperlink to my Contact page, so readers can easily contact me right after they read the blog.

- I bolded and increased the size of the price of products to emphasize how cheap the cost of the products are.
- I added Creative Commons license at the bottom of the blog to make sure it's correctly cited.

Niche Blog Post #3 Draft: Feeding Your Face with the Correct Food
Feeding your face? Yup, you heard that right. Certain foods used can really improve your skin. Different kinds of food you can find in your dorm room/apartment can be used on your face! You can use cheap products or you can use food you find in your room. If that’s not the cheapest alternative to having a clear face, I don’t know what is. If you don’t want a certain food in your pantry/kitchen anymore, use it on your face (if it’s the one I recommend). Look at which foods I have used to improve your acne!
Honey Face Wash
Apple Cider Vinegar Toner
Yogurt, Honey, Cinnamon Face Mask
Sugar and Coconut Oil Exfoliator Scrub
Acne Scars/Dark Spot Remover
Spot Treatment
