Facebook COmmentary and strategy report
Facebook Post #1
I posted this because this relates to my Blog Post #1, on knowing causes acne in certain locations on your face (which was one of the subtitles descriptions). This is good information for people to know about. I got 5 likes and 4 comments. I got really good feedback from this post. It was probably the one that got the most comments out of all of my posts and I can tell everyone loved it.
Facebook Post #2
I posted these 3 pictures because it relates to skin care and I wanted people to get a good laugh. I posted 3 different kinds of memes and posted it all together in one post. The overall post got 2 likes and 1 comment. The person in the comment enjoyed the pictures and thought they were funny. Out of the 3 pictures, the one that got the best outcome was my last picture. Although it got only 1 like, the person wrote many comments and even asked questions. We had a conversation and I answered the questions he had. I feel like this was a good way to show other people I will respond any questions they may have if they comment.
Facebook Post #3
I posted this video because instead of always reading words on a picture, people can hear the information as well. The video covered different types of skin and interesting tips, which I felt my readers would love. I got 4 likes. One person commented and actually said she was going to try one of the suggestions from the video. A couple of hours later, she got back to me and said "It worked great!". I was so happy about this result because most people wouldn't get back to the page and let the person know how it worked. So, I was happy she got back to me.
Facebook Post #4
I posted this because skin care involves using face products and not knowing how much to use could be an issue. This chart gave a good comparison on how much to use. This blog post got 3 likes and one comment. This post wasn't as successful as my other blog posts. At least the person who commented found the post interesting and informative.
Facebook Post #5
I posted this because not many people know which order to use face product or whether to use them at night or during the day. I wanted to inform my followers. This post got 3 likes and 2 comments, that were questions. I liked how the person asked questions because I was able to reply to him. The person was interested as to why there were more night products used than day products and if sunscreen clogs pores. I liked the satisfaction of knowing I was able to help someone out through my Facebook page. My skin care advice is actually helping people, which is my goal.
Facebook Post #6
The purpose of this post is to show people that you can have these drinks to improve your skin. Instead of always drinking water for healthy skin, people can drink these as well. The picture mentions other benefits besides for the skin, too. This post got 3 likes and 2 comments. The comments were mainly that they enjoyed the post and it was informative.
Facebook Post #7
The purpose of this was to inform people about how much our skin absorbs products and the insane amount of chemicals women wear a day. That is why I posted it. Not many people think about harmful chemicals when buying products, so this is giving awareness. This post got 3 likes and 1 comment. My goal was to inform people and my goal was achieved. The person commented said now she will look at the ingredients.
Facebook Post #8
The purpose of this post was mainly aimed for college students because they heavily drink. Not my students realize how much alcohol really affects their skin, so the information in this post will inform them. This post got 1 like and 1 comment with 1 reply. I was shocked because I'm not even Facebook friends with the person who replied to the person's comment. I also don't even know the person who liked the person's reply. I was happy because my Facebook page is reaching people who I'm not even friends with and makes me hopeful for success in the future.
Facebook Post #9
The purpose of this post was to also aim towards college students because they are known for always doing all nighters finishing homework or staying up late when they go out. This is also aimed adults because they tend to go to sleep late as well. I wanted people to see how much lack of sleep really affects your skin. I wanted to show a video instead of a video because they can really see the affect. This post got 5 likes and 2 comments. I can tell people liked it because 5 likes is one of the most likes on got on my posts. The post also reached 52 people, which means people who don't even follow this page, have seen this post. It makes me hopeful for how many people will eventually look at my posts.
Facebook Post #10
The purpose of this post was to show people how much water are in these fruits and vegetables. A problem people normally have is that they don't drink enough water, so these can somewhat replace it. I wanted to inform people that there are alternatives. This post 5 likes and 2 comments. The people really like this post and I can tell by the high number of likes it received.
facebook Strategy report
Overall, I loved posting things on this Facebook page because I loved seeing the positive feedback I was getting. It's the same feeling of when you get likes on a Instagram picture and you keep wanting people to love your page. After looking at the feedback from likes and comments, I noticed there are some things I can change in the future as I post more things. I will try to avoid posting things with less words. People like reading things that are less wordy and easier to read. For example, in my post #8 I got 2 likes and in my post #6 I got 3 likes, which is also low. These two posts had a lot words in them, so I think that is the reasoning why these got the least amount of likes. I also noticed my likes are starting to increase in number after I keep posting more things. The more I post, the more people will see my stuff and hopefully start to like it. So my plan is to post as much as I can, so people are always looking forward to see another post from this page. Another strategy I will do to improve my Facebook page is to keep my posts interesting. If I post things that aren't shocking or not really informative, I will lose my followers. Keeping things engaging will only improve my feedback on this page.
